Default New Kid on The Block

Hello everyone, I just registered and thought that I would tell everyone about my car. It is a 1972 Mustang Coupe. It is Yellow and has a black vynal top that really accents the BFgoodrich Radial T/As wrapped around 15x7 and 15x8 Torq Thrust IIs. It has a completly stock 302 in it with dual Flowmaster 40s and has 24,000 actual miles! This car is driven on a regular basis but not too much due to the extremly low miles. My family is the second one to own the car. Originally, it was purchases by a young man who went into the army and got killed somehow. When he left the car was sitting under an old Pine Tree in Cleveland TN. and when my Grandfather bought it 13 years ago... it was still under the tree. Unfortunatly, due to this the vynal was gone and the car had lots of surface rust but no holes. They aired up the tires and drove it home. Since the car hadn't run in so long the valve stem seals were shot and the rings were stuck to the pistons and so it smoked- a lot. They rebuilt the engine and did all of the body work and put the car back exactly how it was when it left the assembly line. It was then parked in a garage and set for 12 years only being started like once a month to keep everything lubricated. I recieved the car for my 16th Birthday 11 months ago and then finished the car. (new exhaust, wheels and tires, and an alarm system). Tell me what you think!
