Default new in town

I'm not a joiner, and I'm not very internet savvy, but I love my mustang... so why not? I think I went from loving showing & training the real thing to owning the mechanical variety. She's your base model 2000 bright atlantic blue 6 cyl. I'm not very mechanical, so I've only added cosmetic enhancements: leather, euro tail lights, blue headlights,a bra, contrasting letters, contrasting personalized lisence tag, and cobra wheels, which my husband gave me for xmas(not my choice, but don't look a gift horse in the mouth). I was wondering if there is a way to pop out the cobra face and put in a mustang symbol in the hub? Or would this be dumb? She sure is pretty, the only car I've owned that people actually approach me (usually men at gas stations?) to comment on. I'm the only "car" person in my family of 4 men. I wash & wax all the cars & trucks. They do show more interest in their bikes; Harleys and Kawasakis. I work for a (gasp)Toyota dealer, where most of the techs look down their nose at Fords (actually gag at GM products), but I do have a couple from service station backgrounds, who help me out. I use synthetic oil, good idea or not? I'm thinking of joining a local mustang club...but then again, I'm not a joiner. I am waiting for the 2005 model (I LOVE it's looks), by then mine might be worth what I owe on her. Sadly I tore a muscle in my leg skiing last week, so I haven't been able to drive her, since she's a stick. I talk too much, huh? well, hi to all!
