comet driver
Hello all! New to the boards here, but not new to cars by any means. Im 24 and my first car (and the car I happened to drive today) is a 65 Comet wagon. It started life in texas and made its way up here to the detroit area maybe 15 years ago as a 6 cyl/auto car. Now its got a 306 with maybe 350 horse. Engine is fairly stock bottom end, world products 180cc cast iron heads and roller rockers with a performer rpm intake and 600 holley. Tickling the valves is a 278 crane cam that Im starting to think is pretty lame. Its got granada discs on the front and a 3.55ed 9" in back with one-wheel-peel [:'(]. Im dreaming of a 347 with fuel injection and an aode, but unfortunately I think those will have to wait a few years till I get my financial situation squared away a little better. Oh ya, Ive also got a 65 falcon wagon, and my dad just bought a 65 comet caliente. I know this is a mustang board, but since comets and falcons are in the same service manual, I think that shouldnt be a problem.
