Hey guys just signed on for the first time at mustangforums.com!! Proud of it too!! Anyways I was looking into a 2001 Mustang Gt, Priemium package, 5-speed, etc.. Has 27000 miles and is in really good condition? Is it worth 14500? Is insurence cheaper (usally) on mustangs than F-body cars? Well thank you ahead of time

I'm not real up on late model prices but go on autotrader.com or other sites like that and see how much others in your area are going for. Where you are will affect the price of cars, especially sports cars.

I would say is a good deal.. just make sure that the car was not in any accidents and that it has never been salvaged. try to get it down to 14000 and buy it!! about insurance rates I think that GT are cheaper than Z28 just because GTs have less HP (I could be wrong)

Its a good deal for the car. But insurance is going to be high on any sports car so just go with the mustang.

Always do a background check on a cars History..... Test drive it, try to take it overnight if the dealership lets you... Make sure everything sounds tuned, the price sounds about right... Thats actually a pretty good deal from the prices I see out here for those new GT's..... And Insurance is based upon your driving history and age.... It will be higher since the car is a V8 but it goes for all V8 sports cars.. And the color...... With some Insurance companies they have a test package on safe diving that you can take and it usually lowers your insurance about 40 bucks or so....
