Default Another new guy!!

Hello everyone........just wanted to say greetings from Texas and to Mustang owners.

This is my first Ford and Mustang. I guess I just got tired of getting my a_ _ beat on the strip so if you can't beat JOIN EM!!

I have a 95 GT vert (I know its a chick car!) but I am determined to make it a bad A_ _!!! Looking forward to all the info sharing and tech advice. Also looking forward to swapping stories with other 94-95 GT owners. Thanks ALL..............

I am another new guy from Baltimore, MD. I own a 95 GT coupe. I just bought it in May. It is in perfect shape. The previous owner took great care of it.

I am looking to swap notes with other 94-95 GT owners. Figured this would be a good place to start.

Hey Boz.I would be happy to exchange any info with you. I on the other hand bought a care that needed a little TLC so I am getting it back up to standards first. I have added a few extras like underdrives and MAf......have long tube headers but not installed yet (waiting for the H-pipe to come in) and will be putting rear gears soon..............Let me know what you got and we can exchange notes....

See ya.

95, Sometimes a car that needs some TLC is the best way to go. I had an 87GT with approx. 500hp. <--just a guess never dyno'd it. I loved that car. So this is my second Stang, I don't have much done to this one yet. I have a set of Flowmaster 2 chambers and a K&N cold air intake system on it. Plus a set of 95 Cobra R rims.

I am looking to put a new BBK upper intake and some shorty headers and an x pipe to help my Flows sound even better. But that all takes time & money.

I don't know if I will end up doing any gears or not. I have 308 gears now. I am not trying to drag race anymore. The old stang had 373's in it. Not the best for running around town in. I could pass anything but a gas station.

Hope to get some pic's of my car up soon. Digital camera broke, so I am working on that.

Talk to you later.

I am slowly getting mine fixed up but I am learning as I go. I just recently put on a 76MM maf and did not feel much...........I was told the injecters neeeded to be upgraded to 24 or larger to support the maf so I am stuck with a 289.00 dollar maf on my car and NO real Hp gains............but it will pay off eventually.

I am doing exterior engine mods first to see what I can get out of it and then will go into the engine. I only have underdrives, 76mm maf, Mac long tubes (not on yet) soI am just getting started. yes, time and money!

Going to try to get the H pipe from somewhere today. The two local Mustang parts warehouses are out. Who would have thought? So I am going to Summit or Jeg's

Keep me posted on your progress..........Mine is getting a new AOD right now and is on the shop. I wanted 5 sp but I just made a good deal on my chick stang. (black ,vert, auto yukkkkk)

Yeah, a friend of mine told me that he had to put 24 pound injecters after switching his throttle body out to a 75mm. That is the only reason I havent done that yet. I would like to make some major changes to the top end of my engine. A set of GT40 heads might be in my future.

I just don't want to over do it this time. It seemed like I was always doing something on my 87'. The more I did to that car the more I was under it fixing it. <--- or making the problem worse in some cases. You know how that goes. I know just enough to be dangerous.

Yea me too.......I can take it all apart but sometimes have trouble getting it back together. I know a few guys that have 350hp+ rides and they are married to them. Thats why I want to do the externals first and then get in the engine. I think I will looking for GT 40 heads as well. You can get them on 97-98 expeditions and some other cars? I did not know this so I will looking around the junk yards when I do.

Not sure about the intake upper and lower yet? I heard cobras are nice and have heard some good things about trick flows, etc.....I heard BBK came out with a bad *** one and I think I have seen it. It has the top ports on both sides unlike all the other that have them on the driver side. The ports looked twice the size as stock! I know the guy who put it on but I know the cars not ready yet. I will see what happens when he is done
