I found this forum awhile back and it looks like fun.

I have a 2001 Saleen 281 convertible that I sort of "inherited" from my son. Long story short, we co-signed the loan a few weeks before he went into the Marines last October. We all quickly realized that he could not afford it (at 20 with several speeding tickets, the insurance alone was going to be $650 a month!)

So I sold my Lexus and kept the Saleen -- with his blessing. And why not? He didn't have to pay $1600 for four new Michelin Pilot tires! And he still gets to drive it when he's home on leave. Of course, he's still complaining about the "My Son Is A U.S. Marine" bumper sticker. "Mom, you don't put bumper stickers on a Saleen!" I promised I'd take them ALL off after the elections in November.

I just ordered a soft speedster tonneau cover, wind guard, new tail light for the spoiler (the current one has some burnt-out lights) and new wheel caps.

I'm not big on all the technical stuff but I think I'll learn a lot by reading this board. And in return, I'd be glad to help anyone with his or her math homework!
