New guy here - new to Mustangs too
Hi everyone,
I'm brand new to the forums as of about 10 minutes ago and am getting ready to dive into the information here. I thought I'd go ahead and post an introduction for myself first.
I'm a 28 year old guy who has always lusted after Mustang's but never had a chance to get one. For the past 3 years I've been driving my 93 Audi which is rapidly closing in on 200,000 miles. I love that car but it's getting up there and I've been considering picking up a new (used but new to me) vehicle.
As I've been seaching, I've been keeping my eyes open for Mustangs and recently found a really sweet one. It's a 1999 3.8L V6 5 speed. I know its far from the most powerful pony around, but to me it would be a dream. The car is selling for about $8K and has just over 70K miles on it. I know Mustangs are pretty dependable cars, but I was wondering if there was anything I should be on the lookout for before I buy it. Any tips or advice would be much appreciated!
Thanks again!
Tony
