new guy
Built a 07 GT Convertible on the Internet today then called the local dealer. Ten minutes later he called back & advised that he found the exact car, less than 300 miles away and when did I want it. Car was built two weeks ago.
I'm thinking that Monday I'm gonna be the proud owner of a White, with saddle top & interior, 18" polished wheels, shaker 1000 stereo, active anti theft and upgraded interior. Get the a plan through my step dad so it's a pretty good deal...
Any thoughts or advice?
Brought a 67 GTA home with me from Germany when I got out of the army in 1975 and have always regretted selling it. Bought a new one about 1978. I have generally been a gto guy most of my life but GM can't seem to get their stuff together on these retro cars. I think ford nailed it with this mustang...

Sounds like you don't need any advice, that sounds like an awesome chain of events. I did the same thing when I bought my GT last year(3/05), made a list and waited for responses. I got a phone call before I even logged off of the Internet! Although I still had to go through 5 dealerships before I found my black premium GT(dealer markups!) and got it for sticker(I also had them remove the white Shelby stripes it had-looked like a skunk). I say, welcome to S197 Mustang ownership! You won't be disappointed(well maybe at the gas pump-haha) Enjoy!
