New man on the block.........
Hello all,
I signed up to this "great" forum last night, late, and found some great ideas and solutions for 06 Mustang GT.
It's finally great to find a place with people who have the same cars and ideas, etc........
I live in Richmond, VA and bought our first Mustang in December 2004. It was Torch Red V6 with everything. The only thing I did with that car was get a Superchip tuner which really made the care fly. That car would do burnouts sooo easily.....my wife drove it mostly and loved it.
March of this year I just couldn't stand it anymore and got a Torch Red GT 06. Very nice and it kept the wife happy being the same color.
I sold my Superchip tuner on EBay and bought a Diablo Predator. I run premium gas now that the price has fallen some and I'm still not happy with the performance so I'm buying a SCT X Calibrator 2 from Brenspeed as I wright. I read through the forum last night and made my decision from the posts......which were very helpful.
The reason was I wanted a tune that would wake up my automatic stang......you know, like getting the tires to chirp 1-2 every once and a while.......
I've been a hotrod nut for about........36 years but never owned my own. I've always raced the cars of other friends who had rods but never had my own. I always had pickup trucks.
The only other thing I have done is put a K&N CAI on the car. I read here that most don't us K&N but I'm completely happy with it.
Can't wait for my new tuner!
