Default Saying Hi

Hello all,

Let me introduce myself,

About three days ago i went out with a couple friends of mine,
there was one new guy (a friend of a friend), he owned a mustang (one from 1965 i think)
i was totally freaked out by the car and loved it right away...

I started asking him about it and so it seems like he bought the car and patched it up totally...

now i really want to do the same thing...

Now the thing is that i don't know anything about cars...well at least not the technical part.

so i basically come here to learn...

Now my question to you guys is...does this seem possible to you guys for me to do this and learn @ the same time or...am i just full of ****?

Well...

Greets

If you are mechanically inclined, and find a car that is in pretty good shape already, you should be able to do it.

As long as you are somewhat mechanically inclined you can do it. Welcome to the forums!

I've got to admit,
you guys are really getting my hopes up

I was a bit pesimistic about it @ first.

Are there things you guys think i really should read...info that is really basic and / or will come in handy...

I would suggest watching some of the shows on Speed network and Discovery on restoring and modifying cars. It helps allot to see the steps they go through, and how much work it takes to do certain things.

Yesterday i saw an episode of pimp my ride with a mustang from 1967 but this is not all that detailed of course
