hey ho fellow 'stangers. I'm a new member and a neanderthal man when it comes to these computers. I had owned a 67 mustang coupe with a 289 with an autolite 650cfm carb hooked to a 3 spd trans. Used to race with a KR-500 to work in Charleston,S.C. Was able to catch and pass the bugger in the curves but didn't stand a chance on the staightaways.
Currently have a 68 coupr 289 with the c-4 trans. It's been sitting in my garage for the last 10 years waiting for me to get off my butt and work on it. Now that I'm retired I have the time. Iplan on squirting oil into the cylinders and turning the crank over by hand before I hook up the battery to turn it over. I'm sure the seals in the carb will need to swell up before it will pump gas.
