Hello all,

As my subject indicates I'm new at this so any tips you feel a greenie needs to know please enlighten me.

I have a 2002 Mustang GT for the most part in great shape ( even at 92,000 miles ).
Recently the throwout bearing failed and I had a new clutch put in by a local ford dealership.

They did what appears to be a thorough examination of my car and gave several recommendations.
Here is a list of things they want to do. The car runs great so I'm a little skeptical of all these needs.

Any thoughts.

PCV valve, Air filter ( I do this myself ), fuel filter, Fuel injector serv, Air induction serv
Coolant flush, Manual Trans serv, P/S flush, Brake flush ( just had a break job ), spark plugs,
rear diff serv.

Thanks,
Terry

Welcome to the forums... im not real familiar with your year either, but it sounds like routine maintainance.... if your questions arent answered here, post em in the model specific forum for a better response...

Welcome aboard. Everything listed are general maintenance items suggested for most cars today. If Ford doesn't have any service record of these items it is sorta standard to suggest them. I don't really think it is a bad practice cause it can lengthen the life and reduce the problem costs with your Mustang. I'd re-post the question in the 4.6 liter section of the Mustang Tech part of the forum and you can get some tips on what you can do yourself and what really needs to be done and at what intervals.
