Hello all, Im Andrew from Worcester MA. I currently own a 1999 mercury cougar v6 2.5, I have been reading a lot on mustangs and am very intersted now. I'm thinking i might trade in soon. What i have in mind is a 2000 gt, hardtop. Now the only thing im not sure on is transmission, i have an auto in my cougar and it suffers tremendous power loss because of it. Is it the same way for the mustangs? I wouldnt mind having an auto since most of my driving is city, but if it is worth it i would def get the manual.
