I have been lurking for a week or so.. thought I would finally make an introduction. I grew up in a Ford family.. my Dad is a diehard Ford fan. I on the otherhand respect anything with power and handles well, but still lean towards Fords. I am contemplating my next dailydriver/street car and the S197 is one of my choices.

Spent 6 yrs in the USAF -got out in '03. I lived overseas for 4 years in Japan. I got into RWD imports /drifting over there and shipped a lot stuff back. I have a '91 240sx now with a lot of stuff.. done to it. 6 Years in the project and other than forged internals, I dont have uch else to do performance wise. Silver one in Houston area if you see me at any meets..

Anyway, just wanted to say Hi, dig the site, and hopefully when I grad from UofH (GI Bill) in a year or so I'll be ready to buy my next daily/project/fun car and until then maybe this site will help me sway towards a nice S197 (but I love boost.. so it'll have to be S/C'd or T'd)

I can prolly bring some help in the forced induction areas.. 4cyl turbo stuff and know my way around engine management systems.. Currently, I run SDS EM3F on my 240. Have worked with several other stand alones.. but not much with SCT or diablo (American stuff)

Still have to test drive an '05 and up GT and see how I like the handling. I wish it had IRS, but that can be resolved.
