Newb intro
Hey
My name is Chase I have a 66 Mustang (of course) andmay buyan 86 Vert Stang. I also have a 63 bug (HoodRide) that has been consuming most of my time and money. I have had my 66 since I was 14, now 27. Throughout the time I have done some stupid stuff to it because I was young and dumb. The car has been on the backburner for some time now, and I have recently decided to get motivated again.
I will not be going stock as I have already gone to far the other direction. This will be a resto/custom type. I shaved everything, handles, antenna, gas filler and dash along with welded a flat piece of sheet across the concave of the dash. And plan on bagging it too. I am running a later model 302 with some aftermarket parts.
I will post up somepics later butcant figure out how I tried using a link and I tried to add as an attachment with no success. Here is the only one I can get to work right now http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f2...66/mustang.jpg

Welcome to the site, I dont this board could be classified as "purist", however, you may recieve some flack if you ask how to install a new chevy crate motor in your 66! We have some Camaro owners on the board and we love all kinds of mustangs. Please feel free to browse around and check out the model specific forums on the main page. Again, welcome, and we always like pictures.

Please help with the pics I have some older ones on my computer from before I took it apart but I couldnt upload them Im on dial up and it just isnt working for me
