either buying a 2007 Shelby or a 2006 Saleen
Hi all,
Been a stang owner since 88 when i bought my 1st 5.0, i currently own a 98 Cobra, I am in the process of closing a deal on a 07 black & white striped shelby for $57k or a leftover 06 supercharged saleen for $45K, I am buying either one as an everyday driving machine, its not gonna sit in a garage to look nice...is it a waste for me to do that to the Shelby with the extra mark up, driving it will wipe out its after sticker mark up, plusi am told the suspension & ride of the Saleen is much better...what are your thoughts??? Thanks

Eh...I'd probably go with the GT500. I'm not a fan of the Saleen lick and stick body kit. I am however, with you on the driving it. If I were to buy either one, I'd absolutely drive them. Probably daily. I'd drive most cars...Unless it was something like a '71 Hemi Cuda Convertible. Anything you can go out and replace tomorrow should be a driver.
