Default new Texas pony driver

Whats up everybody? Just registered. I've had my 07 GT since October.Bone stock as of now. Here's a depressing story to start my introduction with.

So 3 weeks ago, let's see it was Feb. 21 I was on my way to work. About 7:50am.Wet roads, rain from over night. Driving down a two lane, two way road. On the other side of the road there was a tractor driving about -2 mph causing a stop of traffic in that lane. I was going the speed limit...35, i may have been going a little faster, anyways, not the issue here. So i was just driving paying attention to the stopped traffic and out of no where I see a front end of a truck cutting across the stopped traffic turning into my lane. Well he stops to, i guess look in my direction but instead of waiting for me to pass he slams the gas and pulls right out in front of me. AHHH!!! my precious pony! I hit my breaks, they lock up and I slide right into his passenger door. Busted fender, bent hood, gashed bumper, cracked headlight. oh i was pissed!!! It took everything i had to keep the rage inside from re-arranging his facial appearance. Well, it took 2weeks, but the dude's insurance finally accepted responsibility and my cars been in the shop since last Thursday. Thankfully there was no mechanical damage, just cosmetics because it was relatively a slow speed accident.

The advantage of the situation is that now, when I get my car back it won't look like every other GT on the street. My friend is the assistant manager at the body shop my cars being repaired so he got me an awesome dealon a Roush bumper by a friend he knows at the local Ford dealership. Also, since OEM GT hoods are so expensive I went ahead and told him to order me a Cervini's hood. I can't wait. I'll load some pictures when i get my baby back in a couple days.

Anyways, look forward to asking questions about my car on the board. I think i'm going with an exhaust system next.
