Default Newbie here with an 03 GT

Hi my name is Tami. I just bought an 03 with only 27K on him. Don't know a thing about stangs and modding them. Sure you all will fill me in. I need more HP for sure. My last project car was a Nissan 350z. I am in Chicago and Madison areas. Are there any clubs locally? I will take some pic's this week.

Thanks. Just added my very first mod. Pioneer Z1 unit. Sounds like crapola with the Mach speakers. Now more to do. Need more HP as well. Everyone says wow what a cool car. My response is what a slow pig........help. I have Borla exhaust. Think I need to SC this baby. Friend just got a ShellbyGTtoday. Bastid has 500 hp to my ?. He talked me into the 03 so I could mod mybutt off and then he does this. I got to drive it home. What a hot piece of metal. No batteries required when I drove it. lol

Here's my car line up. 07 Infinity G35, 07 Ford Edge, 03 mustang gt (project car). BF line- up 06 Ford F-250 diesel trk, 2 offshore race boats, 07 Ford Shelby GT (to keep up with me so he says) Thank god he traded in his ugly Toyota. BS I now have to try to keep up with him. I bought the 03 stang off of him. My driveway looks like a car lot. The Shelby and the G sleep in the garage. We are currently getting ready to move meto SC (Columbia Area) as my job requires me to be live in SC or GA. He let me drive the Shelby home from the dealer as he was off boat racing in the Keys somewhere. Car is scary to me. 500 hp is way to much for me.

P.S. I can out drive him, he can out swim me.

welcome to the forum and have fun with your 03 but make sure when you get some horses under your hood that you drive it like you stole it

I always drive like that...lol. I am looking at the Kenne Bell SC. Think that is what I want. Needs soooo much before that point tho. I am recovering from some med stuff and trying to get moved once again. So I think this is going to be a long term project for me. New job, guy, cars, home and list does on and on. I am having a blast tho. Here's a pic of the 03. It is in truly mint condition. He took care of it.

I wanted to take pic's of the Shelby and the 03 together but it is rainy out and I'm not taking it outta the garage. I'm not on his insurance. He is back in the Keys gearing up for this.

Welcome to MF Tami. You sound like quite the car buff, cool. Good luck on the new project.
