Looking to buy a stang...
Hello everyone! This is my first post on this forum. I currently own a 2003 cavalier and I am looking into selling it soon. My dream car is a 2004 Mustang GT. This may be a newbish question, but would I run into any problems buying a 2004 Mustang with about 6,000 miles on it? I don't know if the previous owner has done the necessary 3,000 mile oil changes. Any help would be awesome! I plan getting it around the end of May. Everyone like their 2004 GT's?!

2004 GT with only 6,000 miles or 60, 000 miles? I would take to a good mechanic and have it looked over. You can also ask the question in the 1996-2004 section..folks there are ready to help.

Welcome to MF.
Don't worry about the oil. Even if it hasn't had an oil change yet, as long as there is oil in the motor it'll be fine. '04 is a good year, so no worries. Just get the car, it's so much better than the Cavalier, you won't be able to stop giggling.
