Ford?
I'm a long time Chevy fan, but a few months ago my brother ran accross a 1964 1/2 Mustang with a 289 and factory air. My mother had a 1965 years ago she had to sell to put food on the table and always missed that car so I told her I would fix the 1964 up for her. The car was being driven everyday and everything worked but the light switch. We got the car for 2200.00 and it has a little rust and a bad hood that was bent from being closed with bad spings at one time.
We have not been in a hurry to get started on the car since the inside does not look like a real Mustang being the 1964. This past weekend my mother and I took a trip to West Texas to take care of family issues when we were offered a 1967 Mustang GT Convertible for 1500.00 that my uncle had bought to make a hot rode, but never did. So now I have two Mustangs to restore one that runs and one that will need lots of work.

When you fixup the 64 and hand her the keys, her reaction will be worth the effort.
Keep the 67 for yourself.
