New to forums and mustangs. Just got a 68
Well, I just got a new mustang. Okay, "new" to me. Its a 1968 289 non-fastback (coupe?)
I'm a TOTAL new guy when itcomes to Mustangs. Sadly, that goes for working on them or any car.
My previous car was a 2004 Mercedes SL55 and a 2002 BMW M3 before that... so in 5 years I went to the dealership a total of 4 times (scheduled oil changes). It's safe to say I'm very much not used to getting my hands dirty In fact, I opened the hood of my last two cars a total of none times
For some reason I wanted to get something different. I picked up this car for pretty cheap ($6k) so I figure if it's too much work for me to keep running I can sell it.
I wanted to come on here and say "hi" as I'm sure I'll be reading this forum often. I can already think of lots of questions but I'll put them in the correct area. Most of them have to do with what types of options I might have to modernize it (only a bit, I promise Making it really fast isn't a big concern, mostly I want it to run 'well'.
here is my new ride in the driveway of it's new home.

Hi Cody, welcome to Mustang Forums!
Come on over to the classic section, we'll help you get your hands dirty after we teach you how to open the hood! With just about any classic car, opening the hood monthly (weekly/daily/hourly?) is almost a requirement!
