I've got a problem!! (Nice to meet you all)
My Dad was a mustang enthusiest/pack rat. He passed away a year ago and I'm faced with the problem of how to get his treasuresto people who will appreciate them. Him and I did a stint on e-bay a few years back and I found out that I don't enjoy selling that way. Any suggestions?
Sorry to hear about your dad. I think the best thing to do is to take pictures and post on the "parts for sale" section on this forums. I would suggest that your roam around in there first to see how other folks do their business, then once you feel comfortable, go for it. Once you post the pics, be as specific as you can. Like, what year stang this or that part fits, how many miles it has (if tires/rims, etc,). Good luck.
Sorry to hear that. My dad passed away a few years ago and my brother and I were in a similar situation. I don't have any advice for selling things, but make sure you don't get rid of anything that you'll regret later. It's easy to make bad decisions when your're just trying to forge ahead. If he's got any classics, or particular cars that meant a lot to him, do what you can to keep them, the older cars only go up in value.
Thanks for the input - I'll have to do some browsing to see what is what - Dad sold the car he was working on a few years back. What is left is the parts he rounded up for his next car!
