Default jumping ship to this forum

Hello from Poughkeepsie (for now) NY! I just got my 7th Mustang, a brand new 07 V6 stick with the Pony Package. I also just sold a beautiful 95% restored 1986 GT convertible that had been in the family for 17+ years and traded in my modded 02 V6. I'm moving to California at the end of the month and decided to simplify my life and get a new car at the same time. I had thousands of $ into both cars and was really attached to the vert, but after a lot of thought, I made the decision to go from two Mustangs to one and I'm really happy about it. The new one is Windveil Blue and is totally loaded. It's so much fun to drive, I can't believe it. Everyone keeps asking if it is a GT, or for those who know the visual differences, ask why I didn't get one! I posted a long response to a thread (GT vs V6) in the 2005, 2006, 2007 forum. Mostly just my own humble opinions, but I think it's fun to see what other people love about their Mustangs and swap notes with them. I have a 65 stick six coupe, 67 auto six coupe, 74 Mustang II with a 2.3 auto (zzzzzzzz), 74 Mustang II with a 2.8 six auto, and the convertible & 02 mentioned above. I got really into modifying the 02: dual exhaust, CAI, underdrives, bullit suspension, SCT flash tune, etc. I learned most of that stuff on 3.8mustang.com. Unfortunately theres a few individuals on there who take the fun out of the hobby and actually make me (and probably some others) reluctant to post. Don't get me wrong, it's a great website and is filled with tons of knowlege and info for the SN95 Mustangs. I do hope that this is a "kinder, gentler" community, though! As soon as I have a little time, I'll add a signature, post some pics, etc.

Hey - thanks for the welcome! I've learned a lot of info already since joining. My stang also has a Ford Racing muffler on it now I love the way it sounds... I highly recommend it to any V6 owner looking to get a little more sound out of their car. It also looks great.

Welcome to the forum. I've bought my V6 Mustang just a couple of months ago and I took it to Daytona Beach a few weeks ago. I'm glad that you are enjoying your new Mustang and have fun with it.
