Hey everyone, this is my first post here. Just going to tell a little about myself and my plans for my mustang.
I accquired my Mustang by trading my sister my 97 Grand Prix GT. The Grand Prix had a bad engine and some stuff wrong, long story short, my dad traded me the mustang and fixed the GT by putting a new engine in and fixing minor things, but still traded me straight up for the GP (my sister needed something better on gas).
I currently have both a 96 Grand Prix SE B4U, and my stang, now, on to my mustang.

My mustang is a 94 Mustang GT 5.0, 5 spd, and black, with the Mach 460 sound system. There is nothing done to it except the aftermarket CD player I put in for my sister.

Plans: there is a local car show around here called Pioneer days, I hope to have these things done by the date of the car show, let me know if you think some of these things are too extreme.
First of all, the paint is not in good shape, a little rust, some scratches, and small dents. So the first plan is to get it repainted, my dad is a mechanic and owns his own shop, so as long as I do the prep work and buy the paint, I can get it painted either really cheap or free, so it's not THAT big of a deal. I'm hoping to repaint it Black, but with alot of metallic in it.

Second of all, well, actually first of all, haha, is a saleen body kit I want to put on, I love the look of the saleen kit as it looks as though it could almost be stock.

And third on my list are the rims, right now it has those ugly three arm 17s. I would like to get some gloss black, or chrome rims for it, anywhere from 17-20 inches, will do some more research on what looks best and what performs best.

Those are the main things right now, but some smaller things are also on the list, like tint, the covers for the side scoops (the ones that make them go out instead of in) or the ones that make them lok straight instead, once again, I gotta do more research to see what it actually looks like on the car.

Also, it will receive an exhaust, and a cleaning in the engine bay, and also an aftermarket hood.

I HOPE to have this done by the end of the summer (Sept.) it is NOT my daily driver, so I will be able to spend time on it to get things done without needing a car really bad.

Any ideas are welcome!

Sorry this intor lasted so long, I just wanted to let everyone know what my plans were and actually map them out for myself, haha. Anyways, I look forward to becoming an active member of this community first by learning, then by helping others. I am not new to cars though, just new to Mustangs, in the past I've owned 3 Grand PRixs, a Taurus, A Ford Probe, a civic, and an 88 cutlass supreme classic (loved that car, had to sell fast though) o yea, and a 64 Impala that I never got out of the barn (got it for 15th birthday)

thanks, I hope to get started ASAP, but first I have to pay off my credit card bill...hopefully that will happen fairly quickly, then I can order the body kit (depending on the price) and start prepping for paint. (I may start prepping for pain very soon anyways.)

Afternoon. I'm new to the site and I'm trying to dig up some info on my 94 GT convertible. I usedthe VIN tool on the site and now know all the specifics on my car, where can i go to find out how many were made in that specific configuration? From other Mustang guys, I've been told that my combination is rather specific and potentially rare?? Here is the thing, the car only has 43K on it. So, before I put a t

on of mile on it, enjoying it. I want to be sure I'm not ruining a rare find.

From there is it possible to determine how many would still be out there in the world?? Did I possible find a diamond in the rough?? Any help or insight would be awesome.
