Default New gal in VA

I've got a '95 GT convertible...my husband recently acquired a '99 GT convertiblefrom a member on this board and I haven't seen him this obsessed since having his '65 Mustang coupe out on a date...

My car has become something I truly cherish...I bought her used, she's 12 years old now, could use some new paint one day, maybe new seat covers. I'd been tossing around selling her and getting something else, but I don't like car payments and at the end of the day, I truly LOVE this car, so she's sort of a project now, but one that I truly enjoy.

My other toy is a 2003 Suzuki Hayabusa, and being on a Busa site (www.hayabusa.org) has really opened doors to some wonderful opportunities and meeting amazing friends from all over. I was fortunate enough to get in touch with a fellow member and Busa riderthere that just happens to be a Flowmaster representative. He sent me some JBA header pipes and full exhaust plus the newest 44 Series Flowmaster mufflers to put on my car (for free)...just this week I've gotten back behind the wheel, she sounds great, runs great and keeps me smiling...

Been lurking here for a while now; figured it's time to post up and say hi! [8D]

I need more recent pics of my car, but for now, there are some of her here, along with all of the other stuff in my life LOLhttp://picasaweb.google.com/VaBusa/

Thank you! Love the site; just soooo much to comb through and learn. I feel like such a newbie and I've owned this car for years now LOL I've learned that I don't mind digging in and taking my motorcycle apart, but the car is a different beast - I rely heavily on my husband to do most of that work...

Thanks!

That was my 2nd trip to Deal's Gap, but the first time I finally rode the dragon on the bike (and we rode the bikes there; no trailers), so yeah, it was a long ride, but worth it...I'd love to take my car there, but honestly, something more nimble would be even more fun! Glad to hear you've been down that way; it definitely boasts some amazing roads.

The exhaust may not be the best out there by today's standards (and from what I've read from others), but I'm happy and it didn't cost me much LOL
