hey i love Corvettes, a friend of mine bought a 1978 Corvette for cheap when we were in high school, and i helped him with the engine and drivetrain work on it. that was a nice car, and i love the new ones, just can't afford one. i suppose after all the modifications i'll eventually do to my '02 Mustang GT, i could have just gotten a Corvette, but it's nice having that back seat sometimes, and i prefer the "muscular" looks of the Mustang i suppose. i test drove a 2006 Mustang GT a while back when i got bored, and it was a world of difference when compared with my '02, you'll be very happy with it i'm sure.

 

If you need a back seat, the Mustang is a great choice.

 

From experience I know that a Mustang isn't a great car a haul kids around in, but it's got a back seat so yes much better than a Vette.

My kids are 5 & 3 and find that getting them buckled in is much easier when the top is down, so maybe you should consider another convertible.

I've fit 5 people into my old '00 stang with the top up! And two of them were over 6' tall and over 200lbs! Three in the back and two in the front! I'm sure you'll fit a couple of kids back there. Welcome to the forums!
