That is some hefty insurance! How does a deductible work exactly? What does it have to do with your insurance?

When you wreck your car, the deductable is the ammount you have to pay, and the insurance company pays anything over that. For example, if you have a $500 deductable, and you wreck your car and do $3,000 damage to your car, the insurance company will only pay $2,500.

It will drop you insurance cost to have a higher deductable.

im 17 and pay 3200 a year for insurance..which sucks ***** and has slowed me down with mods since i got to come up with 1600 for aug

insurace is gonna be high just cause the car is a mustang??!!?! go figure, mine at 18 is 2k a year
the 3.8l are very reliable if taken care of, i currently have almost 150k on my 2000 and it is still runnin strong, if u really want to impress some gals at school get u a nice exhaust, ill find my clip of mine

n yea they are def in ur price range

Im 17 and pay $67 a month for insurance. My mom was nice enough to put her down as the primary driver and just told the insurance company that I may be driving the car occasionally. So if i get in a wreck i just have to say "it was one of those special occasions where she let me take it out," otherwise itd be like 200 a month. We have Grange though.
