Default Hey, 89' Mustang

Hey all

I have a white 89' mustang LX hatchback witht he 2.3 4cyl in it, with GT body work and american racing rims with goodyear rubber. I Live in espanola, ontario, canada.

Im having alot of problems with it, with the main problem being that it doesnt run right now. I got if off this guy who said it ran very well, then just stopped running. He thinks its the fuel pump as it used to make the normal pumping sound, then just stopped. So yesterday I dropped the tank which had extremely rusty and seized bolts then today I checked to see if there was any power getting to the fuel pump. To do this, I disconnected the 4 pronged connector that connects the electrical parts of the tank to the body, and got nothing for power, so im preety sure there is no power getting to it.

My question is what is causing this power failure, where are the relays for the fuel pump?, are there any fuses?, and how do I get to these?. I have a shop manual but no owners manual, and thats doing me no good.

Anways, im very desperate in knowing how to fix this, as I need the car running for school coming up, can anyone help?!

Thanks in advance!
