Default New Member Hello

Hello everyone! A short intro. lol... I've got a 66 vert that i'm restoring with my dad right now it just got outta paint (candyapple red) and i'm picking up my 2002 GT vert (28,000 original miles) on monday. Getting pretty excited. The 02 is 100% stock and was wondering what you guys would do to the car? I dont wanna really mess around with the motor...i was going to change the mufflers to get a better sound than stock but dont want the car to be loud-- i drive long distances on the highway and that would suck. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for all of your help.

Welcome! The 50 series Deltaflow from Flowmaster would be a good choice. I put those on my 1971 Buick GS. They don't resonate like the 40 series in the cabin but they still have that muscle car sound when you get on it. At 80mph they sound fine to me in my buick, the 40 series on my GT resonate badly in the cabin but I knew that going in and my GT doesn't see too much highway driving.

As for your GT go with a Cold Air Intake, your exhaust, and really the other mods might be an upgraded intake plenum, throttle body, or maybe pulleys but it sounds like you would do well with just the CAI and the exhaust. I would love to see some pics of your project car.
