Hi guys and gals!
I recently picked up a windveil blue '06, extremely low miles. I was looking for a V-8 GT, but after driving the 4.0 I decided it was plenty of car for the money. I also knew I could always make a decent sleeper out of it if I wanted to. I live in the Northern Virginia area and I'll be looking for mustang clubs soon. Anyone know af any near me? Anyways....I'm just here to learn what I can about my new baby.....and meet some other mustang fanatics, talk shop, shoot the S**T....what we are all here for!
I have been browsing the 05-07 threads on the 4.0 Pony's and I was very impressed with all of the posts. You guys seem to know you girls right down to the muffler hangar bolts! As I said, I bought this car because it was affordable, reliable, and a beefer-upper if I chose to go that route, and that is my exact plan.

Magnaflow Catback exhaust (unless theres no difference from axleback...still researching)
Custom Tunes ....... (still researching)
Steeda CAI??? (I'm researching several) I want to improve throttle lag)
Undersized pulleys?????...I'm looking for max gain.
Cams......(researching)
Short throw shifters.....(researching)
ported heads (future)
headers.....(I haven't seen measurable gains from adding them???.......)
I'm havin' a blast just learning about new cars.......
