Im not trying to disrespect V6 mustang owners, but if its auto its kinda slow, it still looks nice, but you will lose tons of races if you race, i know my brother had a V6 stang and that was back in 99-00, and now cars are much more powerfull,and I loose a lot of races 2, well in straight not in cornering.
So my advice 2 you is go for the looks and sound, dont waste your money on power, unless you gonna strip you car to the max to get the weight out, or put a S/C or turbo.

 

That's what I'm doing with my 6er. I can't afford the high priced mods, and I'd rather save for my cobra.

Still nothing wrong with a 6 though-- they're just as much mustang as the others.

My v6 was a stick, '95.. and had lots of mods. You can win many too though. Everyone will lose a race, but, you can do so much. I mean, overall is it faster than a v8 stang? Of course not. But.. I like a challenge. I like taking something someone else had doubts about and proving them wrong.Not just by alittle bit, but proving them wrong by A LOT. They have this Ford v6 Shootout once a year. It's nice to see these thing run a 1/4 mile in 11 secs. Can you do that? or 10 secs. I was going to take mine to the next, but instead, I left sold it so I can add my SuperCharger. (they aren't cheap). So... Enjoy them while you have them. Do what you can. And like the lady said, it is a mustang.
