Hello Stangsters!!
Hi,

Well, my main issue with my GT automatic is.. when I go to start my engine it will crank but it doesn't start. It usually does this 2 times, then will start fine with the 3rd try. It's very frustrating considering it's a 2002, and kind of embarrassing at times. I don't have this problemfirst thingin the morning, it's usually after I've ran a few errands, etc. It's something I've been dealing with for about 9 months.. and it runs fine, has horsepower and everything else. Since it is running fine, I'm scared to take it in.. just for it to come out with more problems.. (bad experiences with the service department). I've had 1 response.. could possibly be DPFE sensor.

Any other suggestions would be helpful and appreciated!

Damn Fords...hehe. Wait, I drive a Ford...oh yeah. I am at a loss Kim, but I have a question for you. When you try to start it, how long do you let it crank before you stop and try to start it again?

Hello Stangsters!!
USAMuscle.. I guess you can say my car is very moody! It usually takes a good 3 tries.. by the time I'm on the 3rd, I get frustrated and let it crank til it does start. It's just a matter of a few seconds though. It basically does it whenever it wants to, hot or cold weather.. doesn't matter. But yes, I know Fords .
