Front end making a creaking noise
Hey all! I am new of course and here is a little bit about my car, 2004 GT Vert. I put 18x9's on the front with 265/38/18 and 18x10's on the back 305/35/18. I dropped the car 1.5" with Fird C springs from American Muscle.com and changed the rack and pinion bushing to poly but they are not offset, now my question is this, why am I getting a creaking noise when I turn the wheels either way? I got a needle for my grease gun and greased the tie rod and balljoints and it has not helped at all, what am I missing? The car has 50,000 miles on it.

RE: Front end making a creaking noise
My '99 did the exact same thing. No matter what I lubed, it creaked.
I replaced the lower ball joints and it went away. I have no idea why it wouldn't respond to lubrication, I just know that the new lowers cured it.
Good luck!
