Hey, I have an 06 Mustang Gt and was thinking about trading it in for an 03 Cobra. I know alot of you probably know the 03's better than i do. Is that a good idea? thanks!

Thanks! I dont know. I have always wanted a Cobra. I love the new ones but, they cost way too much right now. 03's are still very expensive to get. They are clean though!

Get the Cobra and contact a engine builder like DSS and Kennebell strap on the fun!

Don't get a Cobra if your ganna collector it, it's just r tard ed...

If you own a car, and you wanna have fun Cobra's 03 and 04 are pretty much the best setup to start with for a first timer.

I enjoyed my 04 so much I'm converting my Fox's to similair setups with hidden "sleeper" style power! LOL

Cobra's don't have alot of new heads and all, but you can crack 1k horse without breaking the bank pretty easy.

Yeah,My 06 Gt is pretty fast stock... i think the 03 cobras are 320 horsepower right? I wouldnt get it to collect. i want to drive it. show the thing off! I have had my Gt since January of 06. So i have been a mustang owner for awhile. Its an awesome car.

they are rated at 390 hp, but many claim to be around 420 hp to the crank

Yeah, true... i owe 22,000 on my car still. I would probably only get 19k in trade in value. So, i would have to go Neg Am. I am trying to figure out the best way to do this. most of the 03's are being sold by private owner. Obviously, i cant really trade with them haha.
