I just turned sixteen and got a 2003 v6 mustang with 33,000 miles on it for $11,500. It came with a mach 1000 sound system and a performance exoust though I'm not shure which brand, I think flowmaster.So far I have put on a mach 1 look to it but labled it mustang on the side not mach 1 like some guy was trying to do in another post; put in new floormats with the mustang logo, put a bbk cold air intake on, and a 16 inch black antena.

In the near future im planing on getting black gt4 rims(18 inch) whichcan befound on americanmuscle.comwith yellow break pads. I also wish to get a performance chip and some other engine upgrades.

[hr]V6 is a good way to start out at 16. Have fun with it and hopefully you can graduate from the v6 stage and enroll in a v8. Keep up the good work on th car... lookin good.

Well it's a beautiful car, though I'd say the Foxbody is better, but I'm completely bias towards the 80's style, my girl points it out every time we visit the house, cuz there is my other Mustang waiting to be paid off (deal with the owner come december if all goes well) and I'm hoping to do more, slip it off on her ya know, LOL then again giving her the IROC-Z was a bit of a bad move...

Anyways love the look of it, for a New Edge I bet it is lovely driver! Performance chips are not as good as you think, I'd invest in an intake or headers\mid pipe if they are not done. As they tend to yeild better results and free up the options later on.

Such as my Mustang, completely sucks without the exhaust upgrades, I've heard 60hp can be made with the right combo on my year, I'm sure 30 on yours wouldn't be so bad at the flywheel, and the curves are always better, I've learned this over several dyno tunes with my pet Cobra 04, most parts help alot, otherwise don't buy em!

Looks awesome! But I agree it is a shame it's not a V8. Although there are lots of mod's you can do, the V6 is just too limited if you ask me. Unless you do some kind of Turbo or Twin Turbo's it will never do much better than a GT.
