Hi everyone, new to the place looks great. I am looking to get out of the older muscle cars and into a 5.0 Stinger!I have been wanting to do one for a while,don't know why I waited so long, just wanted to say hi. I am a mod on 2 other forums and Admin on another, hope to hear and exchange info with you guys on these great cars.

Some guys in Tennessee at the tracks call the Stangs , Stingers, because they like to sting anything other than a blue oval,lol, just good ole hillbilly talkI geuss.

Ahhh... where I come from, we call them 5 point slows, slow point o's and Rustangs.

Nah, they are good old fashioned 5.0's. I wouldn't take one stock, though. Back in the day when I was shopping for a mustang, I test drove a stock 89 gt vert. I opened up the throttle on the highway to see what it had. As I accelerated and felt the engine roar to life, a civic passed me like I wasn't moving at all. Never again I say. I took that car right back to the dealership and started hunting through my friends for an already modded stang. Thats when we found ours and now have lovingly nicknamed it jester.
