Howdy
Just got a 98 Gt Convert. Mainly for the wife, but I figure I better keep up on what's going on. I hereby solemnly swear I will not ask which is better wet or dry?, Nor will I ask what the best exhaust is. And I promise to bow down to all the faster cars on the board (which seems to be every other V8 Stang ever made). However, I have previously restored a numbers matching 289 Coupe and had a 12.5 Mopar with no bottle in street trim. So go easy on me
Now, which cold air package is the best??????(joke)

My 12 second car was a 72 Duster 440 6pk. I have to say, I am enjoying my 05 GT, stick even more. Love the handles in corners part.
Welcome to the forums, and best of luck with your Pony !!

Thanks, yeah there was no going around corners in a 69 Dodge Charger
And I do like the "whole package" feel of the pony car, with the ragtop stiffeners and some noce sticky Yokohamas it does pretty well. Of course if I still had the Charger I could sell it and buy an 05 Convert for cash[8D]
Maybe I'll have to sneak in some PI heads and a 100 shot when the wife isn't looking
"Naw honey it just runs better since I tuned it up and changed to Splitfire plugs"
