ALOHA
Hi Everyone. Glad to be part of this forum - hoping that I can learn a lot from all of you. I've loved Mustangs forever.. had a bad experience with my first (1967 coupe), where the shop that I took it in to (put in a new engine)basically stole my car... now that I'm over that traume, I have a new obsession. My 1966 blue Mustang.Got it from Las Vegas from a private owner and had it shipped here to Hawaii and I just received it last week.
I did drive the car and had friends check the car out before I bought it.. and also put in a/c while it was in Las Vegas waiting to be shipped.. But now the car runs really rough and sputters and dies if I don't warm it up for at least 5-10 minutes. Even after warming it up for that long, if I press on the gas too hard from a stop, it bogs. AND THEN... now my air conditioning doesn't work. It worked fine in Vegas, but not here in Hawaii. Maybe the car is homesick. I measured 12VDC out of the pressure switch when I turn the air on, but... *sigh*....
I'll be looking for help here. Hope someone can help with some suggestions!

RE: ALOHA
Which island are you on? Been to the big island and Oahu, plan on going to Kaui next year. Even made it to the dragstrip in Hilo
Sounds like the choke needs adjustingon the 1st question, not that you need it there.
As for the A/C, is the compressor kicking on?
