Brand new but old too
First time poster but I've owned my '98 since '97. I recently bought a Tundra as my daily driver and after having (for the most part) added all I want to it (for now) its time to give my old girl the love and attention she deserves. I just bought some 22"s for her today!
Anyway, she's a 6 banger with 185,000 miles on her and all I've had to do so far is replace the clutch at 80,000 and she hadseveral sensor malfunctions last summer (nightmare), otherwise she's given great service and now I'm ready to turn her into my "project".
So here's my questions. Has anyone had any experience shoehorning the Triton 5.4 into a Mustang? Can the Cobra 4.6 DOHC be adapted to the 5.4 (my understanding is the 5.4 is a stroked but not bored 4.6)?

RE: Brand new but old too
Thanks! I've already done some searching and found some info. Like most boards its always devided opionions but that's good too. I'd love to get a 5.4 liter and put Cobra heads on it! I'm an engineering major and love that kind of stuff! I think I'd like to get her little dents and dings, with a new paint job first though, should be MUCH cheaper!
