Default cams, flow, fuel

I have gone to this thread and read a lot of good info, which promted me to join in... seems a lot of people are going for the gt40p heads, because of thier flow, value to buy..etc. I would like to add input, as I have worked with these heads, and cam configurations... some of the guys on here have done well with thier build-ups, however I see a lot of problems when it comes to cams... bigger is not better, remember the bigger cams, rob vacume, when you have more flow, from better heads, and have jumped up with intake capabilities, your going to need the best vacume that the motor can generate to pull that fuel charge in to the combustion chamber.. the cam match for this is the most important part. Really take the time to research what it is you want, bragging rights on the "biggest cam" at a friday night hangout!, or a motor that will leave a traffic light and pull like crazy, from 0 up, and still have a nice idle stumble!. These days we are lucky to have all the brands and grinds to get what we want out of any set-up... Take the time, spend the money once you won't be sorry! my ride is a 2006 Cutlercustom Muscle Trike... 66 289 w/ edl dual quad [2- 500 cfm] Crower cam, crower lifters gt40p heads, stock ports, milled 30 off ,c-4 trans, 9" rear, 3/1 ratio.... It will fly, 1100lbs.....
