I am not calling BS. Good luck! I hope things turn around for you so your not worried about bills and all! I know that can be a real PITA.

Maybe you will find a way to be able to take care of the bills and keep her!

Welcome to the forum. Retired Army...30 years...do what you need to do soldier. Take care of yourself and your family first...there will be other cars. Yeah...the doors would have to go.

Nothing fishy at all. My family has had some financial difficulty for a while and selling this car will do the following:

1. Stop the registered letters from the mortgage company.
2. Stop the utility companies from knocking on my door.
3. Pay off a few credit cards that are at 32% now.

This car was a gift from God, and as much as we love the car, it is better if we take care of the family needs. We have 2 nice cars, this is a toy.

So far this "win" cost me $3500 in sales tax to NJ and $211 to register it.

Also...would you like to guess how much it costs to insure this baby in the state with the highest auto insurance in the country?

It will break my heart when I see someone drive it away, but I'll feel better knowing that the family is better off and I wont have to explain to the kids why we don't answer the phone.

With GEICO, clean driving record for 10+ years (both of us), STATE MINIMUMS (only what I need to keep it on the road) cost me $1200 per year.
