succumbed to lust
Hello All!
I have driven Mustangs since I was 15, a 67 and a 68 were my only cars until I graduated from college. Like many others, I didn't really care much for the stylings after '69. That is until I saw the first concept of what would be come the '05. I fell in love ... or was it lust ... with it immediately, and couldn't control myself any longer. I still own my 68 ... it's a dark maroon with a black vinly top and black interior. It has a 289 HiPo engine and is probably in 65-70% restored condition. Unlike many "gulf coast" muscle cars, it has absolutely 0, zilch, nada, rust or bondo on it, which is the thing I'm most proud of. But she was lonely, and yesterday I rectified that. I bought a gleaming new 2005 in windveil blue. It's just the basic car with manual tranny so I can customize it how I see fit.

Congrats on the new 05, and the 68' sounds nice. [sm=ttiwwp.gif] Please post some pics of both if you have a chance!!

I just took a few pics of the new. I am searching to see if I have any of the 68. Once I get them all together I'll post all at once.
Can anyone reccomend a good post to read through and get the basics of what and how to mod the 05? I think I've seen a bunch of threads related to that, but didn't understand everything that I read. I want to make sure I cover all of my bases when I go forward with it.
