Hey all. I posted here about 2-3 weeks ago letting ya'll know I joined the forum and was awaiting my 03 SVT. I drove it off the lot this evening and it was more power than i ever expected. I haven't even floored it yet because, well, i wont lie, im afraid of it. I've been driving a ford explorer for 4 years so its going to take some getting used to. Anyone else have the same issues when they first got theirs? I can't believe how low the gears are. I can take off in second every time and before i know i im going 50 in second gear. It eats gas like a sumbitch too. I drove it for a half hour and went through like a quarter tank. Sidenote: What kind of fuel? Can it go on 89, or only 93? Anyways, its more than I could have ever hoped for and I plan on holding onto it until the day I die (hopefully) Any suggestions/comments/stories of your own experiences Id love to hear them.
