How big can i go?
Hello, i am wondering whats the maximum rear tire size i can go on a 1967 mustang fastback. the fenders are also rolled. i dont want any tire rub. So, if possible can anyone tell me how big of rear tires i can go? without having the tires stick out from the body lines. I'm looking for that perfect, mean stance that the 67's and all other mustangs should have. Thanks for your feedback

RE: How big can i go?
There's not really a simple answer to that one. It all depends on yoursuspension style & height (center of axle to tip of fender), and wheel size, width and back-spacing.
Measure the axle center to fender length and tell us what wheel you're looking at and we can go from there assuming you have rear leaf springs.
Anotehr thing to keep in mind is th stiffness of your rear suspension. Looking really mean while sitting still is a bit different than looking mean while driving without rubbing over every bump.
Welcome to the forum btw!
