Hi, Im new, I have a lot of questions for those who have knowlege?
I have a mint 2003 mustang gt. I would like to add some more horespower, however, i am not a mechanic.
I thought about chips but the ford mechanic said( If ford could get more power out of that engine they would have done it) And a chip puts more wear and tear on the car,Go figure? So he said go online to ford s.v.t. team and ask them. Then he said maybe a pulley system? Like i said I am not a mechanic, I would just like to know how much horspower i can get without having to work on my car every weekend, You guys know what i mean Right??? Send me in the right direction please! I would like to get it up to 300hp if possible.
I thought it would not be hard thing to do, with all the bolt on parts. give me some ideas will ya?

1) welcome to the forum 2) go ahead and ask all of your questions in either General Tech or 4.6. theyll be able to help you out more since this is just the "welcoming party" forum. but, believe me, 300hp is NOT hard to achieve, AT ALL !!! bone stock youre at 260. full exhaust, a tb, a maf and a cold-air intake will have you over 300. and that right there, youre looking about $1300-$1500, with the exhaust being the most pricey. but, welcome to the boards. have fun
