Default First Post, check engine light?

Hey I'm new to the forum. I own a 98 V6 3.8L Mustang. I bought it for 4000 dollars, not bad and I have done some work to it. I rebuilt the tranny, put new wheels and tires on it, and recently put a remanufactured engine into it. Even more recently I have but on dual exhaust with glasspacks and now it talks to me some. The exhaust has a nice low tone to it when I'm not accelerating to much but it kinda starts to sound like a tuner while it's wide open. Anyway recently my check engine light has been on and I have checked to see what's wrong and it says air fuel ratio. I'm guessing I need to replace my Mass Air Flow Sensor.

I have just bought a BBK Cold Air Intake for my car also and was wondering if I should replace the sensor along with CAI or if I can already put on the Intake?

Normally that light is from the rear o2 sensors seeing a air/fuel problem. Did you have the converters removed when you did the exhaust? If so then you will need MIL's to turn the light off. Is the car running right? If so then it's not your mass air flow sensor.

No the convertors are the same. I thought it was the o2 sensor as well but I just replace it like a month ago. So it has to be the mass air flow sensor. Cool thanks for the help.
