Newbie From Utah
The first car I ever restored was a 66 mustang pulled from a farmers field about 24 years ago. now I own a 2006 V6 mustang and could not be happier I sold that old car a long time ago and kicked my self in the butt ever since. same old story I was young and needed the money. countless sub-compacts and suv's later that old mustang bug bit me again with the intro of the 2005 model I drooled over every pamplet I could get my hands on I even went to the dealership to watch the first one in our city to come off the truck into the prep shop watched them get her ready for the new owner all the while envyious of the person who would drive her away she was a white v6 mustang they even let me sit in her in hopes that I would go away but I stuck around to see who would get her.It turned out to be a guy about my age his wife had saved up and got it for him on his 35th birthday I thought how cool is that! Long story short I now own a white V6 mustang myself and could not be happier!

There is a TSB for the gas tank. However, what have worked for me and other is to tilt the nozze at least a bit sideways while filling the tank. Ive only had the problem twice in almost two years and this trick seems to work. If not, recommend you take it in.

Congratulations on the new Mustang!!! Regarding the gas tank issue, I had the same problem with my '05. As mysteriously as it started, it just went away. It's happened only twice in my ownership of the car.
Great color choice, by the way!
