Default A quick intro

I never had much in the way of a Mustang, just an '81 I-4 and that came out of a Pinto.
Recently though I bought an 89 Lincoln MkVII with a 5.0 HO. If it's stock, it's basically the same motor as the '86 GT. But considering that it's 20 years old, the last owner wasn't all that bright and knew almost nothing about the car, and had missed some serious maintenance over the years, it sounds way too strong to be stock.
Anyway, this seems like the logical place to learn about Mustang motors. The rest of the car, well, I'm not sure there's anything else Mustang in it.
But we'll see.......
