Default fuel problem

hey guys ,

i just bought a 94 mustang (v6) for my first car . I know its not great seeing as ppl here love their v8's , but heck , its my first car . i was darn lucky my dad got it for me its probably best i didnt get the v8 , too much power for a new driver . that too in Dubai's horrible traffic

anyway , my cars an export stang ( meant for countries like Japan and those in the middle east ) . The problem is that im getting terrible fuel economy , i filled her up at the station and 115 kms ( 72 miles ) later the tank is less than half full . Shouldnt i be getting close to 25 mpg (according to MSN autos) ? i just had it serviced , replaced the oil filter , air filter , engine oil , gear oil , coolant ... the works ....

does anyone know anything more about theseexport stangs and their fuel economy ? im not working at the moment so im worried about the cash i need to keep the car on the road ...

Default RE: fuel problem

Welcome to the forums!!!! [sm=welcomesign.gif] I don't know that much about them, but if post this question in the tech area under the 2.3 forum you will get a lot more responses. Congrats on the mustang. BTW I had a great time in Dubai when I was there in 95' on a deployment with the U.S.M.C.
