Default Diffuculty in replacing an engine

I am very close to buying a mustang but before i do, how difficult is it to remove, and drop in the same size motor? would i need to drop the tranny too? and how long could it possibly take? I know the basic things about cars and i have the tools to probably remove it too. 3.8l by the way...And i did many searches on it too

Thanks

You will have to remove the tranny if you are planning on using the same one. It shouldn't be taht difficult as long as you have the right tools. Welcome to hte forums!
